Let's start a list of things we learn about the wiki as we go along. I'll start things off....

  • You can use Microsoft Word to type and format your work and then do a copy/paste over into the edit screen of the wiki page.
  • If more than 1 person tries to save work on a wiki at the exact same time, could cause problems.
  • If you're going to make a link and you want to format the text of the link like make it purple, you need to do the formatting first and then create the link. Formatting won't work well after you've made the link.
  • You have to be signed in to YOUR CLASS's WIKI before you can post any discussion or make any edits.
  • If you want to put a photo on a page, you first need to Upload it. Do this by clicking on the "Insert Images and Files" icon on the Editor toolbar.
